Place it on flat, firm ground and brace it if the instructions require extra support.
Only light the fuse once, at arm's length, using a taper.
Keep spectators behind the label distance and keep children away from the firing area.
Do not pick up, reposition, or kick a cake after lighting or after a misfire.
