Cake safety

Use a stable base and follow the label

Cake fireworks are designed to fire from a fixed base, so setup and distance matter before anything is lit.

What is a cake firework?

A cake is a multi-shot firework designed to fire a sequence from a fixed base.

Safe setup

Place it on flat, firm ground and brace it if the instructions require extra support.

Lighting advice

Only light the fuse once, at arm's length, using a taper.

Distance and supervision

Keep spectators behind the label distance and keep children away from the firing area.

Never move once lit

Do not pick up, reposition, or kick a cake after lighting or after a misfire.
